India to spend 6.5 percent more on food subsidies

Reuters exclusively shared how India is poised to raise the subsidies for the world’s biggest food welfare program by 6.5 percent for the fiscal year beginning April 1, the smallest increase in three years, according to the nation’s interim budget.
