Reuters first to report Mexico set to impose 20 percent tariff on U.S. pork legs

In an escalating tit-for-tat battle over tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump’s administration, Reuters was first to report Mexico’s plan to slap a 20 percent tariff on U.S. pork imports. Mexico said the retaliatory tariffs would apply to pork legs and shoulders from U.S. suppliers, which account for about 90 percent of the country’s $1.07 billion annual imports of the cuts.
